Project Run and Play

Project Run and Play Season 21!!!

Guess what?!?!

I get to be a designer for Season 21 of Project Run and Play!!!!!!

I am SO over the moon about this. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€ Project Run and Play was one of the first sewing blogs I found that introduced me to this amazing community of online makers. To be included as a designer is total wish fulfilment!!!

If you have never perused the fabulous project run and Play site, here is the lowdown. Project Run and Play is a 4 week sewing competition, loosely inspired by the Project Runway series on Bravo. Of which I am also an avid fan. Who doesn’t love drama and a good runway show?! So the blog premise is this: Six children’s sewing bloggers are chosen as designers to complete in four sewing challenges over the course of four weeks. Each week has a theme, and each week one designer is voted off. The fourth week, three designers are left to submit their Signature Style look, and place 1st, 2nd or 3rd, winning some amazing prizes like fabric, patterns and Cricut toys πŸ˜„ from the generous Project Run and Play sponsors.

Each week, the scoring for the designers is three fold: 1/3 panel of past PRP designers, 1/3 celebrity guest judge, and 1/3 popular vote (that’s you!!!) So make sure you vote for me every Tuesday on the Project Run and Play site.πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰ Additionally, anyone can sew along with the themes and enter the official PRP Sew Along contest to win some great prizes too! Between seasons, past designers collaborate on new pattern collections, fabric collections, seasonal collections, etc. It is a crazy inspiring place to visit if you are looking for your next children’s sewing project.

The competition doesn’t start until September 2nd, so I am furiously sewing away over here! Check in on Instagram for sneak peeks, and you can read my bio on the PRP website here. Don’t forget to check out the other designers from this season and their amazing blogs; the competition is going to be fierce because these are some seriously talented ladies!! β€πŸ’•β€ No matter what, I am beyond honored to be doing this with them!

Until September 2nd, happy sewing!
