Lookbooks are always so fun to put together! And I couldn’t be more excited about the theme for this winter’s lookbook: Project Lounge Library. With the Pantone color palate as a guide, each designer chose a book to inspire us! I of course, made and extensive list of amazing children’s books and novels, and after weeks of agonizing and browsing fabric websites, I settled on The Secret Garden, which I read with my kids this fall as part of our homeschool curriculum.
Rather than drawing out my plans for this collection, I went with curating a mood board in my sewing room, which made me feel like a legit fashion designer and I will do this for every project from now on! So fancy.
All of my amazing fabrics in this collection were supplied by Cali Fabrics. Ron was amazingly helpful in choosing coordinates and slogging through my long emails. 😜 By the time I finally made my decisions, the fabric was shipped super quick! I’ve always loved Cali Fabrics, but I was extra impressed with the level of customer service I received when I reached out.
